I did that as well. Since I only do PVE, I focused my ranger on farming. I tried to do a few hours of raptor farming per day, and searched for deals when purchasing the materials needed. Sell golds as unids unless they have +30hp when they're equipped. If you have any questions feel free to pm.

A quick update *grin*
Ive done the xth and got about 75 keys total

vanqed 8 areas in profs

did a few HM mission in eotn
Got lucky insc. on a sword

so far i am at 102 ectos 10k and 3 obi shards

One word for ya, Feathers.

Yup I made my fortune with feathers, farming Factions Noob Island or Nahpui Quarter. I used to make Con Stes and sell those, but then stopped and just sold stacks of materials individually to save some time.

Nahpui will net you bone, feathers and Iron(from salvaging) while the noob Island will get you bone, feathers and non max crap golds that you can sell unidentified.

Yay another update

got all the ecto, mostly from trading z-keys from the xth.

Got really lucky with some drops doing vanq in eotn and traded for cash to get 30 obi shards.

Saved all my cash from selling party points from the newyear event that eaquled to about 70k got more shards.

Getting all the skill snow to try to HM farm the raptors which i need to learn anyways *grin*

So the total is 105 ecto and 88 obi shards. I have done next to no farming just vanqs and hm dungons.

the last little bit will really be the hardest casue i am so close i can almost feel the soft buttery fell of obi armor sliding over my spoiled rangers arms *supergrin*
